This story focuses on JJ Kane and Lena Richards, although this can be read as a stand-alone I wouldn’t recommend it as this book is full of characters that are interconnected between the Big Bad Billionaires and the Arranged Marriage Series.

Steele, I am a fan, you won me over with this one, so I'm definitely diving in to read more of the series. This is an enemies to lovers age-gap forbidden romance between an arrogant mean CEO and a strong-willed, confident young woman who’s determined to live life on her own terms. When he leans down and murmurs something in the ear of that actress from the new Marvel movie, she blushes under the light hanging above the table and swats playfully at his arm. She understands it's reciprocated, but feels guilt knowing that it would not only hurt Isaac, but destroy any chance of a father/son reconciliation. And overall there are just so many other books like this that do it better which I know sounds mean but there are only so many hours in a day to read.

If you’re going to pluck someone from their life you would have done your due diligence and known everything about them. I did enjoy the bringing together of the Seven and the Sovranos in a business venture and thank the lord Karma’s secret is finally out, that really was starting to drag with Michael seemingly the only one left in the dark but mostly with this book I was intrigued with Liam and the glimpses of what’s to come with his wedding planner. It’s clear there are a lot of charters important to know when learning about JJ (the books mmc) but you’d have to read the other 8 books to understand their business deals and any of their side conversations which made up a lot of JJ chapters. I’ve read more reverse harems than I can count that include the heroine hooking up with brothers at the same time, which somehow doesn’t have the same level of ick factor for me (especially when the brothers are twins as they often are - I guess it’s a sense of ‘well they share everything else anyways’? I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy and incase you can’t tell I highly recommend this book, in fact both of these series.This after we've been told he pretty much had affairs (not on page but when he told his then wife to keep her lovers out of the house and to keep her life private like he did). Well they may be a continent away from each other but they are so close knit and have each others back, there’s no judgements in this family.
