As a person who loves reading mystery and thriller books, I just don’t think this genre are Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher’s forte. In plain English, this means that I may receive a small commission (at no cost to you) if you purchase something through the links provided. Despite the fact that this story continues to get more and more far-fetched, I found myself listening the audiobook intently. I found it easy to sprint through chapter after chapter, unlocking more questions and mysteries as I went along.

This novella was a lot better than the first because I finally found some answers that I was craving since the first installment, though I admit I'm still not satisfied. There seems to be some voodoo mischief afoot, but the authors also hint that it could be someone connected to Silas and Charlie’s fathers’ crimes setting them up. New York Times bestselling authors Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher are back with the much-anticipated final installment in the Never Never novella series. I finished it in less than 5 hours and I cannot believe that I still have to wait for 3 months for the next installment. The authors originally planned on releasing it as a standalone but later realized that the story would not fit into one book, so they’re giving us multiple books!Absolutely nothing is cleared up in this second installment and and I’m left with even more questions than I had after finishing book one of this series. The Never Never series would appeal to fans of young adult romance, romantic suspense, and young adult fantasy and paranormal romance.

That experience eventually became the Never Never series, which released in a three-novella format several years ago. She won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Romance three years in a row for Confess (2015), It Ends with Us (2016), and Without Merit (2017).

Every memory they had lovingly crafted and created throughout their lives has been reduced to rubble and rumour, leaving Silas and Charlie the monumental task of piecing their love back together, one brick at a time. This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.

Even if we do find out more stuff about what's happening to them and they even start to have dreams that are actually memories we still don't have the Answers and the book ends with yet another (and very annoying) cliffhanger.Silas and Charlie have been writing letters to themselves so that they remember what they learned during their short two-day investigations. The book is a big mystery and it didn't give me a lot of clues as to what might be the real reason for their memory loss, so I was completely in the dark. Charlie is in trouble, and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present.

Personally I think the series has some serious amazing potential with this crazy plot but one would need to pay attention to the details. I'm not trying to be smug or anything but somehow I had a feeling the book was going to start that way and was going to end that particular way too. I mean, losing memories every 48 hours at the same time, it's creepy and inexplicably unless it's paranormal stuff, but there's no other indication whatsoever that this has anything to do with the supernatural. Someone clearly didn’t like them too much (I don’t think Charlie and Silas liked themselves much either) and wanted them to forget as a punishment. The once cancer-stricken mother lives in the basement, the father is married to the mother’s former nurse, the little half-brother isn’t allowed to do or eat anything fun, and the eldest siblings are irritatingly perfect. I think people expected a more sinister book with a morbid ending from the two of our minds, but instead, we wrote a mildly creepy love story about the power of soul mates that can be read by most ages.
